Levi Brown Wiki Biography
Born Levi James Brown III on the 16th March 1984 in Jacksonville, North Carolina USA, Levi is a retired American Football offensive tackle, who spent seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) playing for the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, before retiring.
Have you ever wondered how rich Levi Brown is, as of late 2017? Authoritative sources estimate that Brown’s wealth is over $1 million, since he earned more than $20 million during his professional career, which lasted from 2007 until 2013.
Levi went to Granby High School, located in Norfolk, Virginia, where he excelled in basketball and football, but mostly focused on a possible future football career. He was used as an offensive lineman and defensive end, and was one of the leaders in his team than compiled an 8-2 record in his Levi’s senior season. Thanks to his success, Levi was named into All-Tidewater selection and a Second-team All-State selection as both offensive lineman and defensive end. After matriculating, Levi was a part of the US Army All-American Bowl, in which Travarous Bain, his future teammate in the Arizona Cardinals took part.
He enrolled at Pennsylvania State University but was redshirted for his freshman season. In the second season, he played in all 12 games as a starter, taking the left tackle position. He slowly improved his game over the years and as a junior was named to the first-team All-Big Ten, and into second-team All-American by both Associated Press and Sports Illustrated.
Thanks to his success in college, Levi earned recognition as one of the best offensive tackles in the 2007 NFL Draft, and was chosen by the Arizona Cardinals as the fifth pick overall, and subsequiently signed his first professional contract worth $62 million over six years, but only $18 million in guaranteed money. In his rookie season, Levi started 11 games and played in 13 games overall. Unfortunately, his performances didn’t justify the high position he obtained in the draft, however, the Cardinals continued to use him as their starting offensive tackle, and until the 2012 season he played in every game for the franchise from Arizona. He managed to record six tackles, and six forced fumbles along the way. In 2012 he was released by the Cardinals, mostly due to his torn triceps injury, but was re-signed three days later and was put on the injured reserve list. The following year he was sent to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a conditional late-round draft pick.
After only one appearance for his new team, Levi was released by the Pittsburgh franchise, thus ending his short career as an NFL player.
After retiring, Levi focused on his education; before commencing his professional career, he had already obtained a Bachelor of Science in Labor & Industrial Relations, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, while in 2011 he started master’s program. Finally, in 2016 Levi finished his education with a Master of Professional Studies for Human Resources & Employment Relations, and is now pursuing a career in the corporate field.
Regarding his personal life, Levi has been married to Lynnette Alicia Anderson since 2009, however, there is no information whether the couple has children or not.
