Laura Lane Welch Bush was born on 4 November 1946, in Midland, Texas USA, of Swiss, French, and English descent. Laura is a political personality, being best known as the wife of the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush. She held the title of First Lady from 2001 to 2009, but all of her endeavors have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

She also became the first person other than a president to deliver the weekly presidential radio address.

Laura’s approval ratings were consistently high throughout President Bush’s first and second terms. During the second term she travelled out of the country more often to become a representative of the United States, visiting a total of 77 countries during the eight years of the Bush presidency. She continued to as a notable political figure even after their service, attending events and even becoming allies with Michelle Obama during the Obama presidency.
