Laraine Newman was born on the 2nd March 1952 in Los Angeles, California USA of Jewish origin, and is a voice actress, actress, comedian and writer. She is best known for being a member of the original cast of the late-night live television comedy sketch and variety show “Saturday Night Live” (1975 – 1980). Newman has been active in the entertainment industry since 1975.
