Lamont Peterson, born on the 24th of January 1984, is an American professional boxer who became famous for being the IBF and WBA light-welterweight champion, and for his rags to riches story that inspired millions of people.So how much is Peterson’s net worth? Born in Washington D.C., Peterson grew up in a big family with 12 siblings. At the age of two, their father went to prison due to a drug offense leaving their mother to take care of the whole family, however, after a short period of time their mother left them as well.

Being left without parents, Peterson and his siblings were separated; some decided to stay with friends to survive. Meanwhile, Lamont and his younger brother Anthony banded together and lived on the streets and in shelters.
