Born as Marion Hall on the 12th July 1972 in Galina, Saint Mary, Jamaica, she is a singer-songwriter, best known to the world by her stage name Lady Saw. Her career began in the late ‘80s, and so far she has released nine studio albums, including “Lover Girl” (1994), “Passion” (1997), “Strip Tease” (2004), and “Alter Ego” (2014), among others.

Going into the 2000s, Lady Saw wasn`t quite so active in the studio, as she had other plans for her career, but in 2004 released her fifth album, entitled “Strip Tease”, which was quite successful as it spawned such hits as I’ve Got Your Man”, “Man is the Least”, “Loser” and “Move Your Body”, and reached No. 14 on the US Reggae chart.
