Kurtis Eugene “Kurt” Warner was born on 22nd June 1971, in Burlington, Iowa. USA. He is a former quarterback, who became famous playing for three of the National Football League teams: St. Louis Rams, from 1998 until 2004, the New York Giants, in 2004, and the Arizona Cardinals, between 2005 and 2010, when he retired. He is now a TV football analyst for NFL Network.
So just how rich is Kurt Warner? His net worth is estimated at $30 million, most of his money having been made from football. He started playing in the NFL in 1998, for about $250,000 a season and, in 2000, he signed his first important 4-year contract which brought him about $46 million. He also made a good deal in 2005, when he signed a 2-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals for $23 million. His average salary in his last two seasons was $11.5 million. Kurt Warner completed his earnings from endorsements; in 2010, he signed a contract with Amway for the “Nutrilite brand”, which sells vitamins and supplements. Kurtis Warner was the quarterback of his class football team in Regis High School, Iowa, from where he graduated in 1989. He has a degree in communications from the University of Northern Iowa, where he also played football and was named the Offensive Player of the Year. After college, Warner worked in a grocery store and was a graduate assistant coach and, in 1995, he signed with Iowa Barnstormers because no team in the NFL wanted him back then. He became well known for his performances in the Arena Football League and even had a video game created around his image, called, “Kurt Warner’s Arena Football Unleashed”.
Kurt Warner started playing in the NFL in 1998, after signing with the St. Louis Rams. In the first season he played in the NFL Europe, where he became leader of the league in passing yards and touchdowns. After several good seasons for the Rams, in 2004, Warner signed a 2-year contract with the New York Giants and, in 2005, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals, for whom he had played until 2010. During his 14-year career, he had more than 10 NFL records, including “Fastest player to pass for 10,000 yards”, “Most touchdown passes in a single post-season – 11 touchdowns”, and “Only quarterback to throw for over 14,000 yards with two different teams”.
After retiring in 2010, he started working as a football analyst for television and radio, with NFL Network and Fox Sports. In 2014, he was hired by Westwood One radio as a temporary analyst for “Monday Night Football”.He adds money to his net worth from appearances in television shows, including “The Biggest Loser”, “The Suite Life on Deck”, and “Dancing with the Stars”.
