Kelly Monaco Wiki Biography
Kelly Marie Monaco, better known as Kelly Monaco, is an American actress, television personality, as well as a nude glamour model. How rich is Kelly Monaco? The sources state that Kelly Monaco’s net worth is estimated to amount to $4 million. One of the main sources for Kelly Monaco’s annual salary and net worth is her modeling career. Kelly Monaco was born in 1976, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she studied at the Northampton Community College before launching a career as a model. Monaco took her first step in the modeling direction in 1996, when she sent a photograph of herself to a men’s lifestyle magazine called “Playboy”. Monaco’s photo was approved, and as a result she earned the title of Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in April next year.
Kelly Monaco continued to appear on various editions of the “Playboy” magazine, and was even featured on several publications of the Playboy spin-off series called “Playboy Special Edition”. While still working for “Playboy” and modeling, Monaco took a different route and invested herself into acting. One of the first roles she received was on an action drama series “Baywatch” with David Hasselhoff, Michael Newman and Pamela Anderson. In the show, Kelly Monaco portrayed a role of Susan, and additionally served as a body double for Carmen Electra. Around the same time, Monaco had several minor roles in such films as David Zucker’s “BASEketball” with Trey Parker and Matt Stone, a comedy-drama movie with Loren Dean and Hope Davis called “Mumford”, and a horror movie directed by Rodman Flender “Idle Hands”, where the main roles were portrayed by Jessica Alba and Seth Green. Monaco continued her television appearances with a soap opera “Port Charles”. For her acting in “Port Charles” Kelly Monaco has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2003. Monaco collected two more nominations for her role in a medical drama series “General Hospital”. She was nominated for Daytime Emmy Award, as well as an Online Film and Television Association Award. In 2006, Kelly Monaco was a co-host on the Annual Daytime Emmy Awards event. Monaco has also made appearances on the Miss USA Pageant, where she was chosen to be a judge by Donald Trump, as well as “Dirty Soap” series that premiered in 2011.
Monaco briefly stepped down from acting, and focused on reality television series, particularly on the first season of “Dancing with the Stars”, which she won together with her partner Alec Mazo. In 2012, she returned to the fifteenth season of the show, and this time shared the third place with her dancing partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Named among the annual Hot 100 list by “Maxim” magazine, Kelly Monaco made an appearance in a burlesque show directed by Jerry Mitchell titled “Peepshow”, where she co-starred with Melanie Brown, a fellow “Playboy” model Holly Madison, and Coco Austin. The revenue collected from all these appearances had a significant contribution to Kelly Monaco’s net worth that amounts to a total of $4 million.
