Kelly Brooks Wiki Biography
Kelly Ann Parsons was born on 23 November 1979, in Rochester, Kent, England, and is an actress, television host, and model, perhaps best known for being part of the film “Piranha 3D”. She was also part of the sitcom “One Big Happy”, but all of her endeavors have helped put her net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Kelly Brook? As of mid-2016, authoritative sources estimate a net worth that is at $10 million, mostly accumulated from acting, television work and also modelling. She’s been part of numerous publications and has modeled for various advertising campaigns. She’s also a frequent face on reality television, and as she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will increase.
Kelly attended Thomas Aveling School, and after matriculating went to the Italia Conti Academy for three years, after which she decided to pursue a career in modelling. She started modelling at the age of 16 after she had won a beauty competition, which led to her becoming part of various advertising campaigns for Renault Megane, Piz Buin, and Bravissimo. These got her noticed by other publications, and soon she would appear in FHM and GQ. She also reached the top spot of the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World list during 2005. She’s consistently been part of FHM lists, and then reportedly signed a high valued contract for Unilever which boosted her net worth significantly. She’s also often seen on billboards and in television commercials. In 2010, she appeared in Playboy magazine, and also started her own swimwear line entitled New Look, and has now launched a clothing line called Simply Be, and become a brand ambassador for Sketchers.
For her television career, she started out hosting and being a presenter for various shows. In 1999, she became part of “The Big Breakfast” but only for a few months. In 2005 she became part of the reality television show “Celebrity Love Island”, then two years later she started to appear regularly on reality television, becoming a part of the celebrity dancing competition “Strictly Come Dancing”. She also became a judge of the show “Dirty Dancing: the Time of Your Life” which lasted for two months, followed by “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2009, but only appeared for a short time as the producers decided that having four judges was too complicated. One of her latest shows is “It’s Not Me It’s You”.
For acting, Kelly has appeared in films such as “Sorted” and “Ripper”, and also made an appearance in the series “Smallville”, portraying Lex Luthor’s girlfriend. In 2003, she was in “The Italian Job”, and was then given the lead role in “School for Seduction”. She also acted for the video game “Need for Speed Underground 2”, and then appeared in “Survival Island” opposite Billy Zane. In 2010, she became part of “Piranha 3D” and was then cast for “One Big Happy” in 2014.
Brook also does a bit of theatrical work, appearing in plays such as “Fat Pig”, “Eye Contact”, and “Calendar Girls”.
For her personal life, it is known that Brook had a relationship with Jason Statham that lasted until the mid-2000s. She was set to marry Billy Zane in 2008 but postponed it after his father passed away. The couple then split, and then she dated rugby player Thom Evans. She became pregnant with his child but had a miscarriage and they soon split up. She also had an engagement to fitness model David McIntosh but it was called off too.

Kelly Brooks Quotes
- I love lingerie. I learnt a lot about it when I was an underwear model. I know what looks sexy on me.
- I used to babysit for a couple who had a collection of naughty videos, and I would sit and watch them.
- I rarely watch what I eat, or go to the gym. It’s sex that keeps me fit.
- My breasts are far too big for my body. I’m just a stick with boobs!
- I can’t run fast like Usain Bolt. I can’t sing like Mariah Carey. So if people are interested in my body, then okay, that’s that. I’m not going to fight against it.
- [on nudity] I’m so used to it now that I’m more terrified of putting my clothes on! I haven’t got any huge body hang-ups. I’ve got to the age where I’ve accepted all flaws. I know I’m never going to be perfect.
- [on Piranha 3D (2010)] It’s a big popcorn movie. It was fun to work on and it seems to have got a good response. The fans seem to love it. If you like horror and you like fish then go and see it.
- Women in the 1950s were so much sexier. That’s what I aspire to look like.
- My mum was never strict. I was allowed to go out to clubs underage, watch TV, listen to whatever music I wanted to, and that made me not rebel. I have never touched a drug in my life. Why would I? My mum used to smoke cannabis in the front room, so I was never curious about it. My mum’s a cool chick and in some ways we are alike. She’s a strong woman, very sharp and perceptive.
- Sex keeps me fit and healthy. What can be better than that? It’s not about crazy diets or gym workouts.
- [on stripping off for the stage play “Calender Girls”] The getting naked is the easy bit. I’ll make sure I have to get naked in every contract. [laughs] In Calendar Girls, I’m working with some fantastic women. We cover ourselves with various props, but obviously there are a couple of slips now and then! Danny is cool with it, he came on the first night and he loved it. But he did tell me: “You need to slow down because you talk too quickly”. I was so nervous the first night, so he gave me constructive criticism.
- [on winning a scholarship to drama school] It was amazing. Amazing! I was from a comprehensive tough school, you know, and then going into London and all the girls are all jazz hands and kissy-kissy, and daaaaarling, sweetie, darling. It was such a contrast, and it took a while for me to adjust and fit in. But within six months, I was all jazzy and kissy and smiley. I became a stage-school brat very quick.
- I’m into well-being, not because of social pressures to look a certain way, but because I’m interested in living a long, full and healthy life.
- [on potential boyfriends] Someone who’s down to earth, funny, good in bed, handsome. Actually, just handsome will do. I’m really shallow at the moment. I’m at that age when I just don’t want anything challenging. I haven’t got the energy. As long as they’re cute, I’m there. And the less they have to say for themselves, the better.
- I got a lot of “This bloody bitch – she only got the job because of what she looks like.”. – as quoted in the September 2002 issue of Playboy magazine
- I am a light person. I think of myself with a shield, a protective shield around me. And I think of bad things bouncing off it. Boom, boom, boom, ba-boom, ba-boom!
- But the thing is – and this is something that really annoys me – a lot of people mistake lightness for stupidity. If you’re cold and mean and dark, you’re smart. If you’re sweet and charming and you get on with people, then you’re not. Then, you’re… bubbly.
