Keesha Ulricka Sharp was born on 9 June 1973, in Rochester, New York State USA, and is a director and actress, perhaps best known for being a part of the series “Girlfriends”, in which she played the role of Monica Charles Brooks, being nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her performance. She’s been active in the industry since 2000, and all of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

For her performance, she earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, but concurrently she also had a recurring role in “Everybody Hates Chris”, and also did film work including in “Never Die Alone”, and “Why Did I Get Married?” When “Girlfriends” ended, Sharp then had starring roles in “The Game”, “Cold Case” and “The Exes”, before becoming a regular cast member of the television sitcom “Are We There Yet?”, about a family adapting to a new setup after their divorced mother remarries. In 2015, she was cast in the drama series “American Crime Story”, playing the role of Dale Cochran, wife of Johnnie Cochran; the true crime anthology series presents past crime events based on popular written work.
A few of Keesha’s latest projects include “Lethal Weapon” – an adaptation of the film series of the same name – in which she is a series regular alongside Damon Wayans Sr, as Trish Murtagh. She also appeared in the biographical film “Marshall” playing the wife of Thurgood Marshall alongside Chadwick Boseman.
For her personal life, it is known that Keesha is married to actor and singer Brad Sharp; according to reports, they have been together for more than 20 years. They also have a son.
