Kaley Cuoco Wiki Biography
Kaley Christine Cuoco-Sweeting was born on 30 November 1985, in Camarillo, California USA, and as Kaley Cuoco is known as an actress, voice actress, singer and model. To audiences, Kaley is perhaps best recognised for playing the character of Penny in the sitcom co-created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady “The Big Bang Theory”.
So just how rich is Kaley Cuoco, as of late 2017? According to sources, Cuoco’s net worth is estimated to be over $30 million, most of which she has accumulated through her acting career. In 2013 alone she earned as much as $350,000 per episode of “The Big Bang Theory”, which made a total of $8.4 million for the seventh season of the show. That same year she also earned $1.5 million from re-runs of the show, and added $2 million from various endorsements. Subsequently, her annual earnings have amounted to around $11 million, so her net worth may well rise.
Kaley Cuoco debuted in the film industry in 1995, when she made an appearance in Brett Leonard’s sci-fi action film called “Virtuosity”, in which the main characters were played by Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Her first appearance in a television series was in the 1999 sitcom called “Ladies Man”, in which she played the role of Bonnie Stiles alongside Alfred Molina and Sharon Lawrence. Cuoco’s breakthrough role came in 2002 in “8 Simple Rules”, which she followed with “Debating Robert Lee”, “The Hollow” and “Crimes of Fashion” with Megan Fox. However, Cuoco achieved the most success by joining the cast of “The Big Bang Theory” in 2007.
Since its premiere, the show has produced ten seasons with two more scheduled, and a total of 200 episodes, managing to raise the viewership average from 9.68 million in the first season, to over 20 million in the tenth season. In the show, Cuoco stars alongside Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar. “The Big Bang Theory” has also featured guest appearances from Stephen Hawking, James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher, Stan Lee, and Bill Nye to name a few. For her role of Penny, Kaley Cuoco received a Satellite Award for Best Actress in in 2012, and a Comedy SeriesPeople’s Choice Award in 2013.
Aside from “The Big Bang Theory”, Cuoco’s notable appearances aside from those already mentioned include “To Be Fat Like Me”, and “Charmed” starring Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty. Since then, she has starred in two episodes of “Prison Break” with Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, “Killer Movie” and “The Penthouse”. In 2014, she joined Chris Klein, Tricia Helfer and Jonathan Banks in Ellie Kanner’s comedy indie film entitled “Authors Anonymous”, in which she plays the main role.
More recently Cuoco filmed Jeremy Garelick’s comedy “The Wedding Ringer” with Kevin Hart and Olivia Thirlby, and “Burning Bodhi”, both released in 2015. She provided voice-overs for “Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Road Chip” – which earned her a Golden Raspberry – and “Why Him?” in 2016, and the same year appeared as herself in “Handsome – a Netflix Movie Mystery” and on TV in an episode of “Comedy Bang! Bang!”
In her busy personal life, Kaley has dated actor Johnny Galecki, been engaged to Josh Resnik, married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016, and is now apparently dating equestrian Karl Cook, quite a sit-com all by herself?

Kaley Cuoco Quotes
- I was having a bad day, and my friend said, “Go wash your hair.” I thought it was really silly – but it made me feel so much better. It might be a small thing, but it works. Washing it off and starting over.
- The final phone call that said we’re [8 Simple Rules] going to be picked up again was just a miracle. We’ve overcome the impossible and we’re still pushing forward. I know John [Ritter] is smiling and so happy that he gets to watch us on television.
- My whole family actually, but my parents. I had such a normal and amazing childhood. I’ve been so lucky. My parents are cool and normal. They don’t talk about the business and I still have stuff to do at their house.
- John [Ritter] was the smartest and most amazing comedian I’ve ever worked with. I think more than teaching me about acting or comedy, he taught me about life and the love of people and respect of people.
- I will always be the way I was a couple years ago before anything happened. And that’s to my parents’ credit, my amazing parents who have been around me my whole life and raised me right. I’m very happy with what has happened so far.
- For me, what I really want to come out of it is to show people that I can hold together a movie, be the number one character and play someone who is twenty or twenty-one.
- Finally, there was a moment when it just hit me. John [Ritter] wouldn’t want me to sit on my butt for the rest of my life feeling sorry for myself or sorry for him. As cheesy as it sounds, he would have wanted us to go on.
- After everything happened, we all got super tight. I can’t deny it. We all just love each other. James Garner and David Spade came on and we fell in love with them too. We’ve just become a family all over again. We don’t want to lose anyone again.
- I love the fashion world. I love clothes. I love style.
- I love all music. Right now, I am loving Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson.
- James Garner is like a peaceful river through our chaos.
- People tend to think they know you when you come into their television’s every week. They think you are different than who you are. Don’t believe everything you hear.
- You do a job, your show gets canceled. You get used to it.
- Horseback riding is my passion. Other than work. People can’t imagine me getting dirty, but that’s what I love about it.
- [on playing the drums] Just 10 minutes of it and I’m a different person.
