Julie Dreyfus was born on the 24th January 1966, in Paris, France, and is an actress best known for her roles in Quentin Tarantino‘s blockbusters such as “Kill Bill: Vol. 1” (2003), “Kill Bill: Vol. 2” (2004) as well as in “Inglourious Basterds” (2009) for which she was honored with Screen Actors Guild Award. She is also widely known for her appearance in the Japanese culinary TV show “Ryôri no Tetsujin” (Iron Chef).

Have you ever wondered how much wealth this French actress has accumulated so far? How rich Julie Dreyfus is? According to sources, it is estimated that the total amount of Dreyfus’ net worth, as of early 2017, is over $8 million, acquired primarily through her acting career which began in 1992.

Julie was born into the artistic family of Pascale Audret, an actress and Francis Dreyfus, a music producer, and is of French and Jewish descent. After attending the University of Paris’s Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilization, she moved to Japan where she became interested in Japanese architecture, and later enrolled at Osaka University of Foreign Studies. After graduation, she transferred to Tokyo where she took a job in an interior design studio. In 1988, Julie began working as French language tutor on the NHK’s TV morning educational program; these engagements provided the basis for Julie Dreyfus’ net worth and opened the door toward a more prominent, acting career.

Her striking beauty and fluency in French, English and Japanese helped her to land her first on-camera engagement – she debuted as an actress with the role of Mary in the 1992 drama “Toki rakujitsu”. However, more professional recognition came in 1994 when her acting talents were presented to the world in the critically acclaimed biographical drama, Rintaro Mayuzumi’s “Rampo”. Later that year she made her English-language acting debut in Justin Hardy‘s comical drama “A Feast at Midnight” after which she gained worldwide popularity which led her to more lucrative acting engagements. It is certain that all these roles contributed to Julie Dreyfus’ net worth in a positive manner.

In 1998, Julie appeared in two episodes of the only season of “The Crow: Stairway to Heaven” TV series, then the first role in her native French occurred in the 2002 TV movie “Jean Moulin”. However, the real breakthrough in Julie Dreyfus’s acting career came in 2003, when she appeared as Sofie Fatale in Quentin Tarantino‘s cult thriller “Kill Bill: Vol. 1”, featuring Uma Thurman in the leading role. Julie reprised the role in 2004 sequel “Kill Bill: Vol. 2”, and she has continued to collaborate with Tarantino by appearing in his motion picture, the 2009 war drama “Inglourious Basterds” in which she starred as fictional Joseph Goebbels’ mistress, Francesca Mondino, opposite Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt in the leading roles. Doubtlessly, all these achievements have made a huge, positive impact of Julie Dreyfus’s wealth in total.

Apart from all those mentioned above, Julie Dreyfus has starred in two Japanese TV series, “Kyûkei no Kôya” in 2010 and “Kamo, kyôto e iku – shinise ryokan no okami nikki” in 2013.

In her personal life, Julie keeps that very private, refusing to answer any questions on possible romantic liaisons, or her general life away from the cameras.

Julie Dreyfus Quotes

  • (on filming Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)) “I mean, on that last day, you would get to your spot, you’d get a break and go to the bathroom or whatever, and then you’d have to just pick your way through the bodies and not slip in the blood.
