Joshua Caleb Gordon was born on 13 April 1991, in Houston, Texas USA, to Herald and Elaine Gordon, of Haitian descent. He is an American Football player, best known as a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League(NFL).

Gordon grew up in a working class family in Houston, where he attended Lamar High School, playing for the school football team and being named first-team All-District 20-5A. However, he was suspended from the Baylor football team after testing positive twice for marijuana. He totaled 43 career receptions for 721 yards and seven touchdowns in his two seasons at Baylor, then in 2011 he transferred to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, but sat out the whole season, due to NCAA transfer rules. Reportedly, an Ohio woman filed a complaint in 2015, stating that Gordon is the father of her one-year-old child, and seeking a child support. A year later, the warrant was withdrawn as the player finally submitted his DNA, stating that he was unaware that he had been requested to take the test. The test results are expected to be returned before the hearing in November 2016.
