  • Joseph Ward Simmons is a prominent American disc jockey, rap artist, actor, television producer, as well as a minister of faith, known to the public by the stage name of Rev Run or simply DJ Run. 
  • Rev Run is probably best known as the co-founder of a successful hip-hop group called “Run D.M.C.” from Queens, New York.
