John Phillip Stamos was born on 19 August 1963, in Cypress, California USA, of part-Greek descent through his father Bill; his mother Loretta is American. John is a  film and television producer, musician, songwriter, as well as an actor, perhaps best known for portraying the character of Jesse Katsopolis in the popular sitcom created by Jeff Franklin entitled “Full House”.

John Stamos  studied at the John F. Kennedy High School, but during his teenage years worked for his father as well. However, his parents supported his music and acting ambitions, and Stamos debuted on television screens in 1982 in “General Hospital”, a medical drama that had first aired on screens in 1963. For his role of Blackie Parrish, John Stamos received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination.
