John Skipper was born on the 19th December 1955, in Lexington, North Carolina USA, and is an entertainment executive who has served as the president of ESPN and co-chairman of Disney Media Networks since 2012. Skipper has also been one of the key men who has promoted the remarkable growth of ESPN in recent years. He has played an important role in boosting the business of television and the Internet division of the company, as well as making some of the improvements in advertising sales.
