John King was born on 30 August 1963, in Dorchester, Massachusetts USA, of part-Irish descent, and is a news anchor, best known to be the chief national correspondent of CNN, for which he is based in Washington, DC. He is also the anchor of “Inside Politics”, a roundtable political discussion program. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

In 2010, John announced that he would be replaced by Candy Crowley in “State of the Union”, since he would be starting a new weeknight show entitled “John King, USA”. The following year, he was the anchor who confirmed the death of Osama Bin Laden. In 2012, he moderated a Republican Presidential debate, but his show “John King, USA” was then cancelled. The following year, he made an erroneous report about the suspect of the Boston Marathon bombing, but despite this, all of these opportunities have had a hand in increasing his net worth.

For his personal life, it is known that John was married to Jean Makie and they have two children, but their marriage ended in divorce. In 2008, he married anchor Dana Bash and had to convert to Judaism; they had a son, however, they separated in 2012.
