John Felix Anthony Cena Wiki Biography

John Felix Anthony Cena, simply known as John Cena, is a famous American rap artist, professional wrestler, as well as an actor, who is currently signed to an entertainment company called World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). John Cena’s wrestling debut begins with Ultimate Pro Wrestling, which he joined in 1999, however, his rise to fame and prominence starts in 2002 with the debut in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Ever since then, John Cena has been known to receive mixed feedback from the audience, despite portraying a good character for the majority of his career. In addition to his professional wrestling career, John Cena has tried his luck on the big screens.

Cena debuted in the lead role in 2006 with an action movie called “The Marine”, which was followed by another appearance in an action film “12 Rounds” directed by Renny Harlin. John Cena is currently working on two movies, namely “Trainwreck” with Bill Hader and Brie Larson, and a comedy film starring Amy Poehler and Tina Fey “The Nest”. A famous wrestler and an actor, how rich is John Cena? In 2013, John Cena’s annual salary with the WWE amounted to $1.7 million, while in 2014 it rose to $2.75 million. In 2013 he also added $5 million to his wealth from various endorsements. Having this in consideration, John Cena’s total net worth is estimated to be $65 million. Needless to say, the majority of Cena’s net worth and wealth comes from his wrestling career.

John Cena was born in 1977, in Massachusetts, US but is currently residing in Tampa, Florida. In college, Cena used to play football and after graduating decided to pursue a career in bodybuilding. However, a year later, John Cena began training in order to become a professional wrestler. His career in wrestling begins with appearances on Ultimate Pro Wrestling, where he was fighting for two years. In 2001, Cena received an offer to wrestle for World Wrestling Federation (currently renamed to WWE), which he accepted. A year later, John Cena debuted in a televised match against Kurt Angle and has been part of the federation ever since. John Cena’s big breakthrough in wrestling came two years later, in 2004, when he took part in one of the biggest events of WWE called the “Royal Rumble Match”, from which he was eliminated by Big Show. This resulted in a feud between Cena and Show, and a match that Cena won, earning his very first United States Championship title. In 2005, Cena released his debut album called “You Can’t See Me”, which peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 143 thousand copies during its first week. In addition to making a successful wrestling career, John Cena has been working as an actor. Since his first credited appearance in 2006, Cena has starred in eight movies so far, including “Fred: The Movie” series, “The Reunion” with Amy Smart and even lent a voice to a character in “Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery”. A famous wrestler, John Cena has a net worth of $65 million.
