Cook was born on the 27th August 1949, in Fort Payne, Alabama USA, of Native American and English ancestry, and is a musician, who is probably best recognized all over the world for being one of the founding members of Alabama, a country music band. He is also known as a solo artist and founder of Cook Sound Studios, Inc. His musical career has been active since 1973.
