Jason Hanson was born on the 17th June 1970 in Spokane, Washington USA, and is a former professional American Football placekicker, who spent 21 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), playing for the Detroit Lions. During his career, Jason set several records, including for most field goals of 40 or more yards with 189, and most career seasons with one NFL team, among many others. Also, he received several recognitions, including two time Pro-Bowl selection, 1997 and 1999, while in 1992 he was named as PFWA NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
