Jared Drake Bell, commonly known as Drake Bell, is a famous American comedian, record producer, actor, voice actor, as well as a singer and songwriter. To the public, Drake Bell is perhaps best known as one of the main stars in Dan Schneider’s sitcom called “Drake & Josh”. The series that featured Josh Peck, Miranda Cosgrove and Nancy Sullivan in the main roles premiered on television screens in 2004 to positive critical reviews and acclaim. An award-winning show, “Drake & Josh” inspired the release of a series of books written by Laurie McElroy, as well as two films, namely “Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh” and “Drake & Josh Go Hollywood”. In addition to that, Bell contributed to the theme song of the show entitled “Found A Way”, which was later featured in his debut album called “Telegraph”. Released to positive critical reviews, the album inspired the release of Bell’s second studio work called “It’s Only Time”. The latter album peaked at #81 on the Billboard 200 music chart, and sold more than 7,500 copies during its debut week. His acting debut happened in 1994, when he co-starred alongside Tim Allen, Patricia Richardson and Earl Hindman in Matt Williams’ sitcom called “Home Improvement”. Bell followed his acting debut with “Jerry Maguire”, where he appeared alongside Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. In 1998, Bell landed a role in one episode of the “Seinfeld” show, and two years later played the character of Cage Redding in “The Jack Bull”, which brought him a nomination for Young Artist Award. Around the same time, he started guitar lessons, as a result of which he founded his own band entitled “Drake 24/7”. Drake Bell rose to prominence in 2004, when he landed a role alongside Josh Peck in “Drake & Josh”. For his portrayal of Drake Parker, Bell received several Blimp Awards in 2006 and 2007, and was rewarded with ASCAP Award. Currently, Drake Bell is filming in several upcoming films, namely Martin Owen’s “L. A. Slasher”, and “A Mouse Tale”, where he provides a voice for the character of Sebastian.
