James Henry “Jim” Neidhart is a retired professional wrestler, born on 8th February 1955 in Tampa, Florida, USA, who is best known for his appearances as “The Anvil” in the World Wrestling Federation during the 1980s and ‘90s. During his career he was a WWF Tag Team Champion twice, and headlined for the WWF “Survivor Series 1989” and “In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede”, pay-per-view promotions.

Along with Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Davey “Boy” Smith and Dynamite Kid, Jim moved to WWE, but the team soon split into two tag teams, so Hart and Anvil became “The Hart Foundation”. During the ‘80s, the duo competed in numerous matches, capturing the World Tag Team Championship.

However, The Hart Foundation eventually fell apart, and Jim teamed up with Owen Hart. Despite often being at odds with “Hit Man”, the two reunited and formed a new “Hart Foundation” in 1997 which consisted of Brian Pillman, Davey Boy Smith, Owen, Bret and Neidhart. After a series of infamous events in the Survivor Series of 1997, Jim left WWE for World Championship Wrestling, where he formed a tag team with The British Bulldog. Due to mis-management, the two had little success as a team, therefore Neidhart started his part-time appearances which lasted until appearing in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in November 2009, where he defeated Jay Lethal.
