Harris Dickinson was born in 1996, in Leytonstone, East London, England, and is a director, writer, and actor, probably best known for his appearance in the film “Beach Rats” in which he played Frankie. He’s been active in the industry since 2013, and has worked on a variety of projects, all of which have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Harris Dickinson? As of late-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $300,000, mostly earned through a successful career in film and television. He’s been nominated several awards including an Independent Spirit Award thanks to his performances. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Harris pursued film and theatre at a young age, but when he was 17, he decided to drop out of school, and even considered pursuing a career with the Royal Marines, but was later convinced to return and pursue an acting career. In 2013, he created his first short film project entitled “Who Cares”, for which he served as the writer, director and editor. He followed it up with two more short films the following year, one of which was “Surface”, and the other was “Battle Lines” in which he acted in the role of Stanley. This led to more opportunities opening up for him, including a two episode role in the British sitcom entitled “Some Girls”. In 2015, he then worked on another short film project which he wrote and directed, entitled “Drop”, and the following year had a role in the television film “Home”, all adding steadily to his net worth.
2017 would become Dickinson’s breakout year when he was cast in the independent film “Beach Rats”, in which he played the role of Frankie, a young Brooklyn man struggling to figure out his sexuality as he tries to balance a normal life while meeting older men for sex or drugs. His performance in the film earned him nominations for a Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Actor, and his net worth also significantly increased thanks to his performance, and was also nominated an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. Later in the year he appeared in another short film entitled “Morning Blues”, but also continued with television work, including appearing in the series “Silent Witness”, which focuses on forensic pathology experts and their investigations. He also had a four episode role in the BBC thriller series entitled “Clique”, which focuses on female university students becoming involved in a dark mystery.
Harris is also working on several projects set for release in 2018, one of which is the film entitled “The Darkest Minds”, based on the novel of the same name by Alexandra Bracken. He is also working on the series entitled “Trust”, which is centered on the Getty Oil heir John Paul Getty III when he was abducted in Italy. These projects will continue to build his net worth.
For his personal life, nothing is known about Dickinson’s romantic relationships, if any. He divides his time between the UK and the US.
