William Henry “Hank” Green II was born on the 5th May 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. He is an entrepreneur and vlogger, probably best known for co-founding with his brother the YouTube channel named VlogBrothers. He is also recognized as the founder of EcoGeek, Subbable, and VidCon. He has been accumulating his fortune not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a vlogger and musician. During his career, Hank has already collaborated with many magazines, including The New York Times, and beside YouTube, with NASA, and The Discovery Channel, which have also added a lot to his net worth.
Hank Green was born in Birmingham, but he was raised with his brother in Orlando, Florida, as his family moved. He attended Winter Park High School, after which he enrolled at Eckerd College, from which he graduated with a BS degree in Biochemistry. Later, he graduated with MS degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
As early as 2007, Hank`s career as a vlogger began, when he created the VlogBrothers channel on you tube, alongside his brother John. As of early 2016, the channel has more than 2.5 million subscribers and over 1,400 videos, with more than 590 million views, which has increased Hank`s net worth by a large margin. Thanks to the popularity of his video blog, Hanks soon created a new one, Crash Course, which is an educational web show, covering history, literature, as well as biology, science and other topics. After that, John ventured on another web show, entitled SciShow, and later he created The Lizzie Bennet Diaries with Bernie Sue, which was also successful, increasing Hank`s overall net worth further still.
To speak further of his accomplishments, he and his brother John, also created the EcoGeek, which is an environmental technology blog, and the two also started the VidCon, which is a yearly video convention, and in no time it became the largest of its kind in the world. Hank is also responsible for creating the Subbable, which was later acquired by the Patreon, and the sale of which further increased Hank`s net worth.

Hanks is also a businessman, since in 2011 he created 2-D glasses, which use only right or only left lenses of the regular 3-D glasses, and are used to watch a 3-D film in 2-D. Furthermore, Hank established a record label, entitled DFTBA Records, which helps promote young You Tube stars such as Charlie McDonnell, Molly Lewis, and Dave Days among others.
