Gregory Phillip Grunberg Wiki Biography
Gregory Phillip Grunberg was born on 11 July 1966, in Los Angeles, California USA, of part-Jewish descent, and is an actor, perhaps best known for being part of the television series “Heroes” playing the character of Matt Parkman. He was also part of the film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” as “Snap” Wexley. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Greg Grunberg? As of mid-2017, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through success in acting which began in 1990. He’s often appeared in the works of JJ Abrams who is his childhood friend. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Greg attended University High School, after which little is known until he appeared in a few supporting, uncredited roles in early ‘90s films. One of his first film opportunities came in 1998, in the film “Baseketball” in which he got his first credited role. Afterwards, he became a part of the TV series “Felicity” playing Sean Blumberg from 1998 to 2002. He also started appearing in the series “Alias” as Eric Weis, a role he held for five years from 2001. He left the show to become a star in the sitcom “Grand Union”, and was then cast in the Abrams series “The Catch” in which he was set to play a bounty hunter, but after the pilot the series was never picked up. In 2004, he participated in another Abrams project – “Lost” – in which he had the role of a pilot. This string of Abrams projects continued, with Greg getting a small role in “Mission: Impossible III” in 2006.
Grunberg’s net worth increased thanks to these numerous opportunities, and he then got one of his most popular roles in the show “Heroes”, in which he played Officer Matt Parkman, a character with telepathic abilities. He then made a guest appearance in the hit series “House”, before venturing into video games, voicing FBI agent Ethan Thomas in “Condemned: Criminal Origins”. He was set to appear in the “Star Trek” film reboot, but had to decline due to scheduling conflicts.
Greg continued to do various voice work, including becoming a part of “The Super Hero Squad Show”, voicing Ant Man. In 2011, he had a minor role in the video game “LA Noire” in which he provided the voice and motion capture for the character Hugo Moller. During the same year, he made a guest appearance in “Hawaii Five-0”, followed by a guest appearance in “Psych”. In 2013, he appeared in the first season of the series “Masters of Sex”, and would reprise his role in four episodes of the next season. One of his latest projects is co-hosting the talk show “Geeking Out”. He has now been involved in well over 50, various productions.
For his personal life, it is known that Grunberg married Elizabeth Dawn Wershow in 1992, and they have three children. He suffers from epilepsy and participates in charity efforts to help raise awareness of the disease – he was the chair of the 2007 National Walk of Epilepsy. He also supports the Jewish community and promotes Jewish heritage. He maintains a Twitch channel on which he plays video games with other celebrities.

Gregory Phillip Grunberg Quotes
- I opened up a frozen-yogurt business out of college. I didn’t finish college; I went halfway, and then I worked for Joel Silver, the producer, as a driver for a year.
- I was, throughout school, in the theater program. Through elementary school, junior high, high school, and then J.J. Abrams, my closest friend in the world, we were living together. He was writing, and I was trying writing; I wasn’t getting paid for it like he was, but I always had the acting bug.
- With Yowza there are no games, you don’t have to check in or become the mayor or go back home and redeem anything online – you will always press one button, show the coupon at the register and save money. It’s as simple as that.
- I met my wife, I had no money, I had nothing, and I started my family without really, my career was nowhere, but I had these other businesses, I had these things I was doing to be able to afford a small home.
- I have always been business minded, always been sorta an entrepreneurial guy; I played a character on ‘Felicity’ that was modeled after me, actually.
- I love the iPhone – I’m a huge Mac and Apple fan.
- My limitations are – I’m not Meryl Streep. I’m not playing anything in a foreign language, or anything too far from who I am.
- I love Twitter. Twitter for me is twofold. I can use it to get out important information about charity stuff and where I’m going to be, and I can get feedback from the audience which I love.
