Aaron Kwok was born as Kwok Fu-shing on 26 October 1965 in Hong Kong, and is a singer, dancer and actor, perhaps best known for his on-stage dancing, reminiscent of Michael Jackson.

Aaron attended St. Joseph’s College in Hong Kong, then went on to work in his father’s jewelry company, King Fook Gold & Jewellery Co. Ltd. serving as a junior staff. His father wished for Kwok to take over his family business, however, Aaron was fired for his prolonged absence due to an injury he suffered at a party. In the next year, Aaron played in ‘’The Detective’’ to a mixed reception, but in 2009 starred in ‘’The Empire of Silver’’, a drama based on the historical events that took place over a century ago, which won nine awards, and the same year the sequel of ‘’The Storm Riders’’ entitled ‘’The Storm Warriors’’ was successfully created. In 2013, Aaron portrayed Tong Tao in ‘’The Silent Witness’’, receiving a mostly positive response from the critics and audience. In the following year, he worked on his first movie in the ‘’ The Monkey King’’ franchise, followed by ‘’The Monkey King: The Legend Begins’’ in 2016; another sequel is in its post-production, and will be released in 2018 under the title ‘’ The Monkey King 3: Kingdom of Women’’.
