Karim Kharbouch was born on 9 November 1984 in Rabat, Morocco, and is well known under the stage name of French Montana as he is a popular rapper in USA and now all over the world, having been active in the entertainment industry since 2002. In addition to being a singer, Cocaine City Records was founded by Montana as well, and currently he is the CEO of the company. In 2014, he was nominated as the best male singer by African Muzik Magazine Awards.

In 2003, he was the victim of an armed attacker and was wounded in the head but survived.

In his personal life, French Montana has been married once, to Deen Kharbouch and French  in 2007, and they have a son born in 2009, however, they divorced in 2014. Later, he had a stormy relationship with rapper Trina. It has been reported that currently Montana has also dated  Khloe Kardashian.
