Frank Hannon Wiki Biography

Frank A. Hannon was born on the 3rd October 1966, in Sacramento, California USA and is a rock guitarist, best known to the world as the guitarist for the hard-rock band Tesla, and also as a solo artist, releasing albums “Guitarz From Marz” (2005), and “Gypsy Highway” (2010), among others. His career started in 1976.

Have you ever wondered how rich Frank Hannon is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Hannon’s net worth is as high as $4 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the music industry.

Frank’s love for music started when he was 10 years old. During the summer vacation he had broken his leg, and took a guitar into his hand to pass the time. However, hooked on Bob Dylan and other artists, his guitar playing became more serious as he got older. Once he was 19 years old he started the band called City Kidd, with bassist Brian Wheat. The two were joined by Jeff Keith on vocals, Troy Luccketta as a drummer and Tommy Skeoch on guitar. Before the release of their debut album, the band changed their name to Tesla.

In 1986 out came out their debut release, “Mechanical Resonance”, which achieved platinum status in the USA, which only encouraged band members to continue to work together, and also increased Frank’s net worth. Until the mid- ‘90s, the band enjoyed national success, releasing albums “The Great Radio controversy” (1989), which achieved double platinum status in the US and gold in Canada, then “Psychotic Supper” (1991), also platinum certified, and “Bust a Nut” in 1994, which achieved gold status in the US. However, the band went on hiatus in that year, mostly because of Skeoch’s problems with alcohol and drugs. However, they regrouped in 2000 in the original line up, but then in 2006 Skeoch again left the group, and this time the rest of the members found a replacement, as they hired Dave Rude as their new guitarist. Since 2000 they have released three albums, “Into the Now” (2004), “Forever More” (2008), and most recently “Simplicity” in 2014, all contributing to Frank’s net worth.

Aside from Tesla, Frank has had several enterprises on his own, including the bands Moon Dog Mane, with which he released one album in 1998, then solo career, and lastly Frank Hannon Band, which also consists of Robbie Furiosi, Joel Krueger, and Billy Raney. Frank has also collaborated with numerous musicians, including Roger Fisher, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard, Jeff Watson, Scott West, Gary Hoey, Steve Morse, and Dickey Betts, among many others, which has also added to his wealth.

Regarding his personal life, Frank was married to Lisa, however, there are no further details about their marriage, but he is now apparently married to Christy – again, no details.
