Finola Hughes was born on the 29th October 1959, in London, England and is an actress, television host, entrepreneur, and author, perhaps best known for playing the role of Anna Devane in the ABC soap operas “General Hospital” (1985- ) – winning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series – and “All My Children” (1999-2003). Hughes has also appeared in such movies as “Staying Alive” (1983) and “Like Crazy” (2011). Her career now spans over 35 years.

From 1992 to 1993, Finola played Chelsea Duffy in 18 episodes of “Jack’s Place”, while from 1993 to 1995, she appeared in 27 episodes of “Blossom”. Hughes continued with “Aspen Extreme” (1993) and “Above Suspicion” (1995) alongside Christopher Reeve, Joe Mantegna and Kim Cattrall. From 1999 to 2003, Hughes played Alex Devane / Anna Devane in 110 episodes of the Primetime Emmy Award-winning series “All My Children”, while from 1999 to 2006, she appeared in nine episodes of “Charmed”.
