So, have you ever wondered how rich Fearne Cotton is, as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that the total size of Fearne’s net worth is over $6 million, accumulated through her successful involvement in the entertainment industry. Another source of her wealth is coming from her collaboration with Mini Club, a clothing company for children.
Fearne Cotton spent her childhood with a younger brother in Eastcote, Hillingdon in Middlesex, where she was raised by her father, Mick Cotton, who worked as a signwriter, and her mother, Lyn Cotton. She attended Haydon School, studying of Art at A level.
As a television presenter, Fearne’s career began at the age of 16 in 1997, on the GMTV channel, when she started working on the early morning children’s show “The Disney Club”, which lasted for a year. Afterwards, she continued to work as a presenter on another show entitled “Diggin’ It” from 1998 to 2000, when she decided to leave it in order to work on CITV projects such as “Mouse” and “Draw Your Own Toons”., which really marked the beginning of an increase of her net worth.
Fearne’s breakthrough came in 2001, when she was hired on the CBBC channel to work on the show “Eureka TV”, as well as the show “Finger Tips” (2001-2003), along with Stephen Mulhern. In 2002, she was chosen to present “Smile”, which lasted until 2004, and concurently started working on such projects as “Comic Relief Does Fame Academy” (2003-2005), “Children In Need” (2003-2015) and “Top Of The Pops” (2003-2016), adding a considerable amount to her net worth, and increasing her popularity enormously.
In 2005, Fearne started working on “Top Of The Pops: Reloaded”, which lasted for a season, and then “Britain And Ireland’s Next Top Model” until 2012, which was followed by other projects including “Celebrity Love Island” (2006) and “The Xtra Factor” (2007). During the following year, Fearne was chosen to appear in the TV series “Celebrity Juice” (2008-2017) and another TV series entitled “Greek Uncovered”, which was aired until 2010. Moreover, she was the host of her own show “Fearne and…” (2009-2010), all helping to increase her net worth by a large margin.
To speak further about her career on the television, Fearne also worked on the “Red Nose Day” telethon for Comic Relief, among many others telethons aired on the BBC channels, all of which contributed to her wealth. Most recently, she presented “Lorraine” and “Sam Smith At The BBC”, both in 2017.
Fearne also worked on BBC Radio 1, on the show entitled “Chart Show”, after which she was hired by BBC Radio 2, increasing further her net worth.
