Fayez Sarofim was born in 1929 in Egypt, and is the heir to the Sarofim family fortune, but is also known as a fund manager to the Dreyfus family, as well as the co-owner of the energy infrastructure company Kinder Morgan and the National Football Association (NFL) team the Houston Texans. Fayez became an inductee into the Texas Business Hall of Fame in 1997. He is also known for his philanthropic efforts.
