Farrah Destiny Franklin Wiki Biography

Farrah Franklin was born on 3 May 1981, in Los Angeles, California USA, and is an actress, singer, and songwriter, best known as being a former member of the group Destiny’s Child; Franklin and Michelle Williams replaced two other members from the group. All of her endeavors have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Farrah Franklin? As of mid-2016, sources estimate a net worth that is at $1.5 million, mostly earned through a career in music and acting. She has worked on a lot of solo projects and made numerous guest appearances in television shows. She’s also been a part of a few films, and as she continues her career it is expected that her wealth will increase.

In 1999, Farrah was a part of a singing group called Jane Doe which was on the verge of disbanding. She was hired to be an extra in the Destiny’s Child music video entitled “Bills, Bills, Bills”, meeting group members Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland. Later in the year she was invited to join Destiny’s Child, to replace two members Robertson and Luckett. In 2000, she made her introduction in the music video “Say My Name” and later appeared in “Jumpin’, Jumpin’”. She would tour with the group and perform all over the country, contributing her vocals to many songs. Most of her singing is seen in the album “Survivor”. However, after seven months with Destiny’s Child, Franklin was removed from the group – according to an interview, she was recovering from dehydration when she was verbally attacked by management because to her sickly appearance. This led to her leaving the group but Beyonce Knowles claimed that Franklin was already missing appearances and seemed uninterested in continuing with them.

After leaving Destiny’s Child, Farrah started to work on her solo career. She signed with Fo-reel Entertainment in 2002 and worked on the song entitled “Get At Me” but was dropped soon after. She then signed with the Fabolous street label, but was also dropped. She then tried her hand at an acting career, becoming a part of “The Brewster Project” in 2004, and she also became part of the independent film “Eyes of Darkness”, and did modelling work for Russell Simmons. Her net worth was at least steady.

Since then, she’s been featured in several magazines, including Cosmo Girl, Teen People, and Ebony. In 2007, she along with former members of Destiny’s Child made appearances in the E! special entitled “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”, which documented their experiences with the group. Afterwards, she made appearances in a few music videos before trying to create her own group called “Pheenx”. After recording two songs through Blaque Rose Entertainment, they dismissed member Bethany Grant because of pornography, and after trying to find a new member they eventually disbanded.

Farrah then started working on a debut solo album, releasing a single called “Magic and Make Up” in September 2015. It was followed by a music video release, and she then started her own company called One Love Pictures and Entertainment.

For her personal life, it is known that Farrah was detained in 2016 for public intoxication and marijuana possession. Information on any relationships is still private.
