Have you ever wondered how rich is Eric Stonestreet? According to sources, it is estimated that the overall size of Shearer’s net worth is $17 million; his salary per episode of “Modern Family” is $190,000, so the main source of this amount of money is his career in the entertainment industry.

Eric Stonestreet spent his childhood in Kansas City, raised by his father Vincent Anthony “Vince” Stonestreet and mother Jamey Anne. When he was a kid, Eric wanted to become a clown, so as a 9-year-old, he created a clown character named Fizbo, whom he has at times brought back while he starred in “Modern Family”. Eric was initially educated at the Piper High School. Later, he enrolled at the Kansas State University, becoming a Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity member. After graduation, he began his activity in the world of acting performing in plays while he studied Improvisation at The Second City Training Center in Chicago. Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles, to pursue further his professional acting career.

Eric made his first TV appearance as Chester in an episode of the TV series “Dharma And Greg” (1999),, which was followed by other small roles in TV series “Malcolm In The Middle” (2000), “Party Of Five” (2000), and “ER” (2000). In 2000, Eric also made his debut film appearance as Sheldon the Desk Clerk in the film “Almost Famous” (2000). In 2001, Eric earned the role of the lab technician Ron Litre in the TV series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2001-2005), which increased his popularity and enabled him to obtain new, and more popular roles. In 2005 he appeared in the film “The Island”, which also featured Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor. Three years later, Eric starred in the film “American Crude”, as Phil, and one year later, came probably his most recognized role as Cameron Tucker in the popular TV series “Modern Family” (2009-2016). All these appearances contributed steadily to his net worth.

To speak further of his career, Eric`s net worth also benefited from appearances in films such as “Bad Teacher” (2011), “Father VS. Son” (2010), “Identity Thief” (2013), and “The Loft” (2014). However, he has also appeared in numerous TV series, but only in cameo roles, including in “Crossing Jordan” (2007), “Bones” (2007), and “NipTuck” (2009) among others.

His latest ventures in the entertainment industry include the switch to voice acting, as he was one of the characters in the popular animated TV series “Sofia The First” (2013-2016), and he is to voice Duke in the upcoming film “The Secret Life Of Pets” (2016).

Overall, Eric is a successful actor, having appeared in more than 40 TV and film titles, for which he has received several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series award for his work in the “Modern Family”.
