Born Eric Shannon Moulds on the 17th July 1973 in Lucedale, Mississippi USA, Eric is a retired professional American Football wide receiver, who played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), for such teams as the Buffalo Bills (1996-2005), Houston Texans (2006), and Tennessee Titans (2007), before retiring. During his career, Eric was selected three times for Pro-Bowl game, and was the AFC Receiving yards leader in 1998, among other recognitions.

Eric went to George County High School where he started playing football, and became one of the best wide-receivers in his class and high school’s history on the whole. After a successful high school career, Eric received a full scholarship for Mississippi State University, and continued with his great football form there. During his career, Eric had 117 receptions for 2,022 yards, which landed him in fourth place on the all-time receiving yards list, while his 17 touchdowns ranks him as the third overall in most touchdowns scored at Mississippi State University.
He declared for the NFL Draft in 1996, and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round as the 24th overall pick. Eric spent his first two seasons as a back-up wide receiver to Andre Reed and Quinn Early, nevertheless, he still saw some playing time and used every minute, as in his rookie season, Eric scored two touchdowns, and caught 20 passes which was enough for 279 yards.
