Elliott William Barnes Sadler is a professional stock car racing driver, born on 30th April 1975, in Emporia, Virginia USA, and is one of 27 drivers who have won each of NASCAR’s top three series at least once. He is currently competing full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and part-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
Have you ever wondered how rich Elliott Sadler is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Elliott Sadler’s overall net worth is $25 million, accumulated through a long and lucrative racing career, which he started when he was only seven years old. He has earned numerous awards and acknowledgements through the years, so his popularity and net worth have significantly increased. Since he is still active in racing, his net worth continues to increase.
Elliott was the youngest of three children in the family, and comes from a long line of drivers. The Sadler family began racing nearly 50 years ago when his uncle and father raced on the short tracks of Virginia. Influenced by his family, Sadler began racing when he was only seven years old, and earned more than 200 victories before moving to heavier stock cars. He was eighteen when he joined the ranks of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series, and won a track championship title in 1995. This was when team owner Gary Bechtel noticed him and launched him to a full season of the Nationwide Series in 1997. He captured the season opening pole at Daytona International Speedway, and then his first career Nationwide Series win at Nazareth Speedway. At the end of the year, he achieved an impressive result by finishing fifth in the Nationwide Series point standings. The following year brought him two more Nationwide Series wins, and in 1999 Elliott signed to his first full-time NASCAR Cup Series ride with the Wood Brothers. Two years later they scored their first mutual victory at Bristol Motor Speedway, and after winning in “Thunder Valley”, Sadler brought the Wood Brothers back to victory for the first time since 1993. His net worth was rising steadily.
After cooperating for four seasons, Elliott parted with the Wood Brothers and headed for Robert Yates Racing. In 2003, he had two Bud Poles and finished the year in 22nd position in the season point standings. However, the following season proved to be his most successful, as he won the outside pole for the Daytona 500, the Gatorade Twin 125 and Texas Motor Speedway. Later that season, Sadler scored his third career victory at California Speedway, securing himself a position in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship.
Having spent three and a half seasons with RYC, Elliott signed with Gillett Evernham Motorsports, who later merged with Petty Enterprise to form Richard Petty Motorsports. In November 2010, Sadler won the pole at Texas Motor Speedway, setting the fastest qualifying lap since 1999, and announced a 2-year deal for Richard Childress Racing in the Nationwide Series while at the same time driving a selected number of races in the Camping World Truck Series. When it comes to his more recent activity, Sadler returned to the Cup Series part-time with Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2017.
Privately, Elliott is married to Amanda and the couple has two children. Sadler is involved in the “Autism Speaks” charity and has made numerous donations.
