Edgar Winter was born on 28 December 1946 in Beaumont, Texas USA, to John Winter and Edwina Winter, and is best known as a singer and musician.

Edgar made his debut with the album entitled ‘’Entrance’’; almost all of the songs were written by him and his brother Johnny, who was also a musician, and was critically acclaimed and as of this day holds a score of four and a half out of five stars on AllMusic. Following in the same fashion, Edgar went on to release ‘’The Real Deal’’ in 1996 and made success with it as well. He continued working on new projects throughout the ‘90s, proving that he still had what it takes. Winter created ‘’Jazzin the Blues’’ in 2004, but the album didn’t meet the expectations.
