Duffy Waldorf was born on 20 August 1962 in Northridge, a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California as James Joseph Waldorf Jr., and is known as an American professional golf player, having won four PGA tour titles.

Duffy attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and was on in a golf team there from 1982 to 1985. His college golfing career was successful – Duffy had his first amateur win in 1984 when he won the California State Amateur Championship, and was the two-time NCAA All-American, and the College Player of the Year in 1985, and the Pac-10 Individual Champion in the same year, and in addition was selected for the Walker Cup. Waldorf holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
