Have you ever wondered how rich Donna Dixon is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Dixon’s net worth is as high as $5 million, an amount earned largely through her successful career in the entertainment industry.

Donna is the daughter of Earl Dixon who had a nightclub located on U.S. route 1, named Hillbilly Heaven. Donna went to Groveton High School, from which she matriculated in 1975, and then enrolled at George Washington University, however, she soon dropped out of studies, and instead started pursuing a career in modeling. In 1976, Donna was chosen as Miss Virginia USA, and the following year became the Miss Washington D.C. World.

Donna’s acting debut happened in 1980 in the sitcom “Bosom Buddies” (1980-1981), starring Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, next to Donna. She then appeared in a couple of episodes of the TV series “The Love Boat” (1981) as Dr. Jill McGraw, and portrayed Daisy in the made-for-television crime drama “Margin for Murder” the same year. Her net worth was established.

1983 was the turning year for Donna, as she featured in the comedy film “Doctor Detroit”, on which set she met her future husband Dan Aykroyd. The two hit it off immediately and married the same year, and would appear in several films together, including the fantasy horror “Twilight Zone: The Movie” (1983), then in the adventure comedy “Spies Like Us” (1985), and the comedy “The Couch Trip” in 1988. Apart from acting alongside her husband, Donna had other successful roles, such as Sarah Wilder in the western “No Man’s Land” (1984), then as Allison Harris in the TV series “Berrenger’s” (1985), and as Tiffany in the action comedy “Cannonball Fever” (1989).

Donna decided to retire in the late ‘90s to focus more on her family, but before retirement, she made several more appearances, such as in the comedy film “Wayne’s World” (1992), as Dreamwoman, and in the biopic about former president Richard Nixon, “Nixon” in 1995, as Maureen Dean.

She returned to acting in 2014, in a minor role as Ms. Blair in the romantic thriller “Da Sweet blood of Jesus”.

Regarding her personal life, Donna has been married to Dan Aykroyd since 1983; the couple has three children together.
