Derek McAllister Jr., born on the 6th of November 1994, and under the name Speaker Knockerz was a hip-hop artist who gained popularity through his videos on YouTube, and songs including “Lonely” and “Rico Story” trilogy. He made headlines when he was found dead in his garage at the young age of 19.

As of early 2018, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be over $200,000, acquired from his years working in the music industry.

Born in New York City, Knockerz always had a connection with music, as his father, Derek McAllister Sr., was a musician himself. Unfortunately, his father was sent to jail, and his mother, Mesha Wilson, decided to move to South Carolina to take them away from the rough New York environment.

When Knockerz and the rest of his family moved to South Carolina, he discovered hip hop and fell in love with music. Upon his father’s release, the two worked together in creating their own music. In 2010, with his father’s help he was able to release his first mixed tape “Flight Delayed.” His early years in music helped establish his career and also his net worth.

In 2011, Knockerz’ success continued, and he started working with well-known hip hop artists including Meek Mill and Gucci Mane. He also carried on creating his own music, and uploaded it on his own YouTube channel for the world to hear. Some of his most well-known tracks include “Weekend” and “Lonely”, that became huge hits and brought him acclaim. His own music and collaborations both helped in raising his wealth.

Knockerz was able to produce almost 50 songs, and one of his most famous creations was the “Rico Story” trilogy. The “Rico Story”, a gangster story that was told in three songs and became huge among his fans.

The last song that he released was “Dap You Up” in 2014.

In terms of his personal life, Knockers was found dead on 4 March 2014 at his home garage at the age of 19. Reports say that he died of natural causes, actually brought on by a heart attack.
