Deidra Muriel Roper was born on 3 August 1971, in Brooklyn, New York City USA, and deriving her stage name from the fairy tale character Cinderella, is a rapper, actress, DJ and producer, perhaps best known for being part of the hip hop group Salt-n-Pepa. She occasionally appeared in the reality television series “The Salt-n-Pepa Show” which aired in 2008. All of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

In 2007 she became the DJ for “The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav’, and during the same year, Salt-N-Pepa reformed and they would start performing again, making an appearance in the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards. She was also working on a solo album but it was never released due to her record label Red Ant ceasing operations.

DJ has also appeared in several films, including “Stay Tuned” in 1992 and “Kazaam”.

For her personal life, it is known that Spinderella has a daughter with former NBA player Kenny Anderson; she also appeared in an episode of “My Super Sweet 16”. DJ now resides in Dallas, Texas.
