Dawn Michelle Staley was born on the 4th May 1970, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, and is a basketball coach and former professional basketball player who competed in the WNBA for Charlotte Sting and Houston Comets. Staley is a Hall of Famer, was selected to six WNBA All-Star games, and has three gold medals from Olympic Games. Her playing career encompassed 1996 to 2006, but her coaching career started in 2000.
