Chang Seok-ho was born on the 5^th August 1977 in Vienna, Virginia USA, however his family roots trace back to Korea, making him Korean-American. He is best known to the world as David Chang, owner of the Momofuku restaurant chain spread throughout the USA, Canada and Australia as well. His career as a chef has been active since 2004.

In 2012 he decided to open a restaurant in Toronto, which expanded to a total of five restaurants, which also increased his net worth as had those in the USA.
