Have you ever wondered how rich is Dave Attell? It is estimated by sources that the size of Dave’s net worth is over $4 million as of early 2016, which has been accumulated through his career in the entertainment industry.

Dave Attell spent his childhood with cousins in Rockville Centre, New York, and then he attended New York University, from which he earned a degree in Film and Television in 1987. After graduation, he began working as a waiter during the day, and afterwards Dave would perform as a comedian at comedy clubs in Manhattan. Subsequently, he had his first formal live stand-up performance at the Lincoln Theater, Washington DC, with which the audience was suitably impressed; his net worth was starting to rise.

From then he started building his way up as a comedian, and in 1988 made his first television appearance in the “Stand-Up Spotlight”, which was aired on VH1. The show was also one of the earliest appearances for comedians such as Wanda Sykes, Lewis Black, and Jay Mohr. Five years later, Dave’s name became widely known in the entertainment industry, appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, which added a lot to his net worth.

After that appearance, he was hired as a writer for the “Saturday Night Live” for the ‘93-‘94 season, as he was spotted by the SNL creator Lorne Michaels. In 1995, he got his first appearance on HBO, in comedy specials with comedians such as Louis C.K., Eric Tunney, Anthony Clark, and Dave Chappelle. The same year Dave was featured in the Young Comedians Special, which was hosted by Garry Shandling. Two years after in 1997, he was given his own episode on the “HBO Comedy Half Hour”. His net worth was certainly rising.

Four years later, Dave started his own show, entitled “Insomniac with Dave Attell”, in which Dave goes through streets of particular towns by night, visiting local bars and restaurants, searching for people with unique night jobs. The show aired until 2004, and certainly increased his popularity over time.

Most recently, Dave is the host of the “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell”, a show which has been airing on the Comedy Central since 2014. The show also features appearances of other comedians such as Tom Rhodes, Jay Oakerson, Nikki Glaser, Ali Wong, Russ Meneve, Brad Williams and others.

Thanks to his successful career as a comedian, Dave’s earned a number of film and TV appearances; his acting career began in 1995, when he was Squiggly Dave on “Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist”. The next year, he was featured in the comedy TV series “Everybody Loves Raymond”. However, in 1999, he earned his first film role as Don in “Los Enchiladads”, which was followed two years after by the role of Frank in the film “Pootie Tang” (2001).

To speak further of his acting career, in 2008 he was cast as Barker in the comedy film “Harold”, which is his most memorable role so far, and in 2007 he was chosen for the role of Abbot in the film “Twisted Fortune”.

Most recently, Dave has appeared in titles such as “Trainwreck” (2015), and he is involved in the animated film “The Adventures Of Drunky”, in which he will lend his voice to Belkor, scheduled for a 2017 release. All these projects certainly helped increase Dave’s net worth.

When it comes to Dave Attell’s personal life, he is known to have been in a relationship with Sarah Silverman, a comedian, for several years, but at the present time he is single. Dave has his own website, on which we can find everything about his next performances.
