Daniel Jay Gokey was born on the 24th April 1980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, and is a country music singer, who came to prominence by winning third place in “American Idol’s” eighth season in 2008. After the show, Gokey signed with 19 Recordings / RCA Records Nashville. He released his first single “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me” in 2009. His first album “My Best Days” was released the following year.
