Craig Philip Bierko Wiki Biography

Craig Philip Bierko was born on 18 August 1964, in Rye Brook, New York State, USA, of part-Jewish and Polish descent. Craig is a singer and actor, known from his appearances in numerous film and television projects. He’s been active in the industry since 1990, which has also included stage work. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Craig Bierko? As of mid-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. Some of his projects include “Boston Legal”, “The Michael J. Fox Show”, and “Equity”. He’s also worked on Broadway, and as he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Craig grew up exposed to theatre, as his father ran a local community theatre. He attended Boston University where he studied broadcast journalism. Later on, he would move to Northwestern University to study theatre arts at the School of Speech. He graduated in 1986.

Bierko then focused on pursuing a career in acting; in 1990, he got his breakthrough when he was cast in the sitcom “Sydney” alongside Matthew Perry, however, the show was short lived as it was cancelled after 13 episodes. Despite that, more opportunities opened up for him which would start the increase of his net worth. Some of the shows he made guest appearances in included “Ally McBeal”, “Wings”, and “Amen”. In 1996, he would make his mark in the film “The Long Kiss Goodnight” in which he played Max Baer. He also appeared in “Cinderella Man’, and “Scary Movie 4” in which he played a spoof of Tom Cruise. He also appeared in stage projects, including in the Broadway production of “The Music Man”. Bierko was also offered the role of Chandler Bing for the series “Friends”, but turned it down. His next major appearance would be in the fourth season of “Sex and the City”, playing the love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character. He also appeared in the third season of “Boston Legal” as attorney Jeffrey Coho. Other projects he has been a part of include the pilot of “Red Dwarf”, and an uncredited role in the film “Kate and Leopold”.

Craig’s next project was the Broadway production of “To Be or Not to Be” however he withdrew from the production in 2008, but then returned to stage in the revival of “Guys and Dolls” the following year; the show went on to run for 113 performances. Two years later, he was cast in the production of “Company” alongside Neil Patrick Harris and Stephen Colbert, and Craig then replaced Bertie Carvel in “Matilda the Musical” playing Miss Trunchbull, however, he also had to withdraw early from the role due to injuries. One of his latest projects is the series “UnREAL” in which he plays the eccentric Chet.

For his personal life, it is known that Bierko has had relationships with Janeane Garofalo, actress Charlize Theron, and actress Gretchen Mol; all of those relationships eventually ended and he remains officially single.
