Cory Spinks, born Cory Calvin, is a former professional boxer, born on 20th February 1978 in St. Louis, Missouri USA. During his professional boxing career, Spinks became a three-time, two-weight world champion, and held the undisputed welterweight title from 2003 to 2005 as well as the IBF junior middleweight title twice in the period of 2006 to 2010. Apart from this, he also challenged for the lineal middleweight title.

A year later, Spinks lost the IBF Junior Middleweight Championship, but reclaimed the title in April 2009 in his hometown. In January 2012, Cory became the no.1 contender for Bundrage’s IBF Junior Middleweight Title.
