Chuck Palumbo Wiki Biography
Charles Palumbo was born on the 15th June 1971, in West Warwick, Rhode Island USA, and is probably best recognized for being a retired professional wrestler, who competed in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E), and who was World Tag Team Champion six times. He is also known as a television personality, co-hosting the TV reality show “Lords Of The Car Hoards” as a mechanic.
So, have you ever wondered how rich Chuck Palumbo is, as of late 2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that the total size of Chuck’s net worth is over $4 million, which has been accumulated through his successful career as a professional wrestler. He is also a television personality, which also contributes to his net worth. Another source is coming from his musical career, as he has started his own band.
Chuck Palumbo spent his childhood with three siblings in Providence, Rhode Island, where he attended West Warwick High School, distinguishing himself as a basketball player, and earning All-State honors. Soon after, he began to serve in the US Navy in which he was awarded with the Silver Star medal, and after returning home, he entered the Community College of Rhode Island, continuing playing basketball for the college team, earning All-American honors, as well as a scholarship to University of Central Missouri. However, upon graduation from the college with a degree in Criminal Justice, he quit basketball, and turned to train in professional wrestling at the WCW Power Plant in Atlanta.
Chuck’s professional wrestling career officially began in 1998, when he joined the independent circuit under the name The Dude. His debut appearance happened in WCW’s Nitro fighting against Ernest “The Cat” Miller, accepting his challenge, on the 19th October 1998. After six months, Chuck signed his first professional contract with the WCW, which marked also the beginning of an increase in his net worth. He found a new name – Jungle Jim – and in his first few matches he was unbeaten, which only increased further his net worth.
In 2000, he became a tag team champion; teaming up with Shawn Stasiak in Perfect Event team, defeating KroniK, which comprised wrestlers Brian Adams and Bryan Clark. They won the title two more times before they split in 2001, which added a considerable amount to Chuck’s net worth. Chuck also won the same title with Sean O`Haire, defeating Dallas Page and Kevin Nash in January 2001. The same year he joined World Wrestling Entertainment, and won WWF/E Tag Team Championship with Billy Gunn in 2002, defeating Tazz and Spike Dudley. The pair retained the title at Wrestlemania x8 in the Four Corners elimination match, fighting against The APA, the Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz. However, they lost the title to Rikishi and Rico Constantino, but won it again just a month later. Nevertheless, their reign didn’t last long, as they lost the title to Hulk Hogan and Edge. After that, Chuck didn’t have any major success, although he wrestled for All Japan Pro Wrestling, and World Wrestling Association until 2012, when he retired.
Apart from his career as a wrestler, Chuck has also tried himself another ventures; he owns a motorcycle garage, CP Kustoms, where he builds his own bikes, and since 2014 he has been the co-host of the show “Lords Of The Car Hoards”, aired on the Discovery Channel, alongside Rick Dore. Furthermore, Chuck has started the band 3 Spoke Wheel, in which he plays guitar. All of these have increased his net worth by a large margin as well.
Regarding his personal life, Chuck Palumbo is the father of one child, whose mother isn’t known; his current residence is in El Cajon, California.
