Christopher Stanley is a film and television actor born in 9 December 1959, in Providence, Rhode Island, USA of Italian and Irish descent. He is perhaps best known for his role of Henry Francis the politician and husband of Betty Francis, who he played in TV drama series “Mad Men”. He also made a significant appearance in Ben Affleck’s film “Argo”(2012).
Have you ever wondered how rich Christopher Stanley is? According to sources it has been estimated that Christopher Stanley’s overall net worth is $2 million. Stanley has acquired his wealth by appearing in numerous films and TV series, since he took up acting in 1986. Since he is still an active actor, his net worth continues to increase.
Christopher was raised in Providence, one of five brothers in the family. Stanley first became interested in acting while he was a teenager, but he was too shy to go to an audition for the school plays he loved to attend. However, with his father’s encouragement and his mother’s artistic influence, he decided to pursue a career in acting, and years later moved to Los Angeles. There he studied acting at the prestigious Loft Studio, and after graduation, Christopher worked a lot both in film and television and accomplished notable performances throughout the years of his career.
Stanley first entered the world of acting in 1986, when he got a supporting role in the thriller film “Murphy’s Law”. Christopher also starred in the short-lived police drama “DEA” and after its cancellation in 1991, he had guest appearances in episodes of series like “Silk Stalkings” ,“Promised Land”, “Boston Legal”, “Without a Trace”, “ Lie To Me” and many others. In 1996, he appeared in films “Crosscut” and “Final Vendetta”. Stanley is also known for playing the recurring role of Officer Szymanski in “NYPD Blue” for three seasons. His net worth was rising steadily.
At the beginning of the 2000s, he was still mostly portraying minor roles, but in hit shows like “The X-Files”. So, although he has been active in film and television since the mid eighties, Stanley didn’t get his signature role until 2009, when he appeared as Henry Francis in AMC’s tv series “Mad Men”, and started regularly acting beside January Jones. Some of his other notable roles include those in “Death Merchants” (1991), “Kangaroo Court” (1994), and “The Terrain” (2011).
When it comes to his more recent acting activity, he also appeared in the political thriller “Argo”, which was directed and produced by Ben Affleck, playing the role of Tom Ahern. Also, in the same period he portrayed Admiral William H. McRaven in the action thriller film “Zero Dark Thirty”. Both of these films were nominated for an Oscar in 2012. All his appearances have helped maintain his net worth.
In spite of his popularity and recognition, Christopher prefers to keep his personal life as private as possible, and therefore, not much information is available to the public. However, he is married to Kim Stanley.
