Christopher Atkins Bomann was born on 21 February 1961, in Rye, New York State USA, to parents of German descent. Christopher is an actor, best known for his debut role in “The Blue Lagoon”. The film helped him become famous despite not having any prior experience in acting. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Atkins then starred in “The Pirate Movie” alongside Kristy McNichol, in which he had to sing “How Can I Live Without Her”, which surprisingly reached the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982. The following year, he was cast in “A Night in Heaven”, playing the overconfident Rick Monroe. He also had a one season recurring role in “Dallas” as Peter Richards, a swimming instructor, a character who had an affair with Sue Ellen Ewing. During the peak of his popularity, Atkins was invited to become part of numerous commercials including for Adidas and Coke, and he was also featured on the cover of numerous teen magazines.

Throughout the 1990s up to the 2000s, he began appearing in numerous television movies; some of the projects he was a part of include “Tequila Express”, “Fatal Charms”, “True Legends of the West”, and “Angel Flight Dawn”. He also had comic roles in “Shoot” and “Mortuary Academy”, before reuniting with Brooke Shields in the series “Suddenly Susan”, in which he played a fellow journalist. In 2007, Christopher starred in the movie “100 Million BC” which went straight to DVD. He also appeared in the reality show “Confessions of a Teen Idol”, which also featured numerous other former teen idols.
