Christine Taylor Wiki Biography
Christine Taylor, an American actress and comedian, was born on July 30th, 1971, in AllenTown, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Joan and Albert E. Taylor III and is of Polish, English, German, Swedish, Irish and Scottish descent. She is best known for her roles in the movies ‘Dodgeball’, ‘Zoolander’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’ and a large part of her net worth comes from them.
So can you have any guesses about how rich is Christine Taylor? According to sources Christine’s net worth is over $10 million, which is a result of her numerous appearances in TV shows since an early age and the few movies as an actress.
Christine was brought up in Allentown, and owing to the fact that her mother was a famous actress and dancer, she started acting in local community programs at the very early age of three. She did her schooling at Allentown Central Catholic High School and completed her graduation in 1989. In the same year her career as a TV actress began with Nickelodeon Children’s Television series ‘Hey Dude’ in which she played the role of lifeguard Melody Hanson. 65 episodes of this series were aired and Christine had plenty of work until 1991. She also made some cameo appearances in other TV shows like ‘Dallas’, Saves By The Bell’ and ‘Life Goes On’ during this period. All contributed steadily to her net worth.
In 1993 Taylor made her debut in the Hollywood film industry through the movie ‘Calendar Girl’ and worked in a few more ’til 1995. However, she attained her celebrity status and a considerable addition to her net worth only after the 1995 hit ‘The Brady Bunch’ movie. She is still recognized from the role of Marcia Brady that she played in the movie and its sequel which came in 1996, named ‘A Very Brady Sequel’. During these few years, she also appeared in the hit TV sitcom ‘Seinfeld’ as Ellen and many times as a guest in some others. These led her to getting a major role in the TV show ‘Party Girl’ on the Fox Network which was an adaptation of the 1995 movie of the same name. She was also seen as Bonnie, the bald friend of Phoebe, in a few episodes of the cult series ‘Friends’. Her other noteworthy movies consist of ‘The Wedding Singer’, in which she played Holly Sullivan, the cousin of Drew Barrymore, and ‘The Craft’ for the role of a bully cheerleader. Her net worth was rising.
In 1998, Christine met Ben Stiller on the sets of the TV show ‘Heat Vision And Jack’. The show was never aired but they started dating, and married in 2000. Since then they have done three movies together, ie, ‘Zoolander’ in 2001, ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog’s Story’ in 2003 and ‘Tropic Thunder’ in 2008, and their on screen chemistry is sizzling and admired highly by the audiences. For a short period she was away from the screens and then returned with a few more TV appearances, as both she and Ben have appeared in the popular TV series’ ‘Friends’ and ‘Arrested Development’ as guests in different episodes.
Presently, Christine lives in Beverly Hills with Ben and two children- a son and a daughter. She follows a vegan diet to maintain her health.
