Christian Rodskjaer was born on 5 September 1945, in Northumberland, England, of part-Danish descent, and is an actor, known for his participation in numerous radio and television series, and also known for narrating audiobooks including Winston Churchill’s “The Second World War”. He’s been active in the entertainment industry since 1968, and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

One of his most notable roles has been in the series “Follyfoot” in which he was a regular cast member playing the characer Ron Stryker. Christian started to pursue a career in acting in the 1960s, and would get his big break a few years later when he was cast in “Follyfoot”, becoming part of the show from 1971 to 1973; the children’s television series starred Gillian Blake and was inspired by Monica Dicken’s novel “Cobbler’s Dream”. More opportunities started opening up for Christian, and his net worth would also start to increase, appearing in the show “The Eagle of the Ninth” aired in 1977 on BBC, playing Esca in the film which was based on the adventure novel of the same name. He also continues appearing on television, becoming a part of “Doc Martin” and “55 Degrees North” in which he played DI Dennis Carter, co-starring with Don Gilet and Darvla Kirwan.
A few of Rodska’s recent projects include “Margaret Thatcher – The Long Walk to Finchley” which is a short series based on the early political career of Margaret Thatcher (nee Roberts), leading to her marriage to Denis Thatcher. Rodska also narrated the 13-part documentary mini-series entitled “The Future Is Wild”, which shows how life could be different if humans abandoned earth. In 2009, he appeared in “City of War: The Story of John Rabe”.
For his personal life, it is known that Christian has beren married to Jacqueline since 1972, and they have a daughter and a son – Benjamin – who has followed in his father’s footsteps, literally, by joining him when Ben played the lead role in the 1985 television adaptation of “Oliver Twist”, along with Christian.
Interestingly, Christian’s father was a sailor, who was the captain of King Faisal of Iraq’s Royal Yacht, but Christian showed no inclination to follow a life at sea.
